In 2014 we gratefully received £5000.00 from The Southern Co-operative.  We are using this money to fund a variety of projects, we still have a small amount remaining.

The Southern Co-operative donated £10,000, shared between us and Swanmore Pre-School

We have used some of the money to buy new planters for the centre of Bishop’s Waltham.  The planters have a small plaque to acknowledge the donation.

The new planters also display a sign that indicates who has sponsored each one.  Two planters have been sponsored privately.

We have also purchased a lawn mower.  This is used regularly by one of our members to mow around the planted beds.

As you wander around the centre of Bishop’s Waltham look up at the brackets where we hang the baskets.  On 21st May three teams, organised by the Chamber of Trade, replaced all our older brackets with newer more decorative ones.
